Given :-

dimensions of a rectangular sheet

length = 33 cm

breadth = 24 cm

(according to the question)

the rectangular sheet is rolled into a cylinder so that the smaller side becomes the height.

than,

the length of the rectangular sheet equals to the circumference (of cylinder)(circumference = 33 cm)

and height of the cylinder = 24 cm

and radius is not given

so,

let radius be 'r'

circumference = 2πr

= 33 = 2 × 22/7 × r

= 33 = 44/7 × r

= 33 × 7/44 = r

= 5.25 = r

so,

radius = 5.25 cm

Volume of cylinder = πr²h

= \frac{22}{7} \times 5.25 \times 5.25 \times 24 \\ \\ = \frac{14553}{7} \\ \\= 2079 \: {cm}^{3}

HERE IS THE ANSWER TO YOUR QUESTION!!

Given :-

A rectangular sheet of

Length = 33 cm

Breadth = 24 cm

ATQ,

The rectangular sheet is rolled into a cylinder so that the smaller side becomes the height (h) .

Then,

The length of the rectangular sheet equals to the circumference (of cylinder)(circumference = 33cm)

and height of the cylinder = 24 cm

and radius isn't given

So,

let radius be 'r'

Circumference = 2πr

= 33 = 2 × 22/7 × r

= 33 = 44/7 × r

= 33 × 7/44 = r

= 5.25 = r

so,

Radius = 5.25 cm

Volume of cylinder = πr²h

= 22/7 × 5.25 × 5.25 × 24

= 14557/7

=2079cm³

Hope it helped!!
