(√2 + √3)² = 2 + 3 + 2√6 = 5 + 2√6

As 2√6 is an irrational no. so

5 + 2√6 is also IRRATIONAL

(  \sqrt{2} +  \sqrt{ 3} )  = ^{2}

it is a rational number

because

and

 \sqrt{2}  ^{2}  = 2

and

  \sqrt{3}^{2}  = 3

so 2+3=5 a Rational number
