can anyone tell me that why only oxygen is inhaled by our nostrils in spite a number of gases are present in our atmosphere in which we inhale?

well almost all the gases are inhaled in our lungs
all except a few gases such as o2 and co do not react with the haemoglobin that is the only acceptor of gases
the gases gets inhaled and gets exhaled simply without reacting
