PLASMOLYSIS--
Plasmolysis is the process in which cells lose water in a hypertonic solution. The reverse process, cytolysis, can occur if the cell is in a hypotonic solution resulting in a lower external osmotic pressure and a net flow of water into the cell.

TURGID--
Turgid refers to cells or tissues that are swollen from water uptake. Many cell types in many different organisms can become turgid due to water uptake.

FLACCID--
The condition of the cell as a result of plasmolysis is known as flaccid. The complete plasmolysis results in the death of the cell. The wilting of the plant is due to the flaccidity of the cell.
