Yes , to some extent, demonetization can abolish black money. Recently, on 8th Nov. 2016 , 500 & 1000 rupee notes were abolished in India which reduced black money.

nope instead of abolishing people deposited fake money in the banks . the recorded money was 15 lac crore but 17 lac crore was deposited then the output comes out that rich people changed there currency very easily and the poor as well as middle class people were suffering from demonization.

yes this also a considerable point but if we talk about abolishing money it didnt helped at the commercial level

I think d regular tax payment has been increasing due to that matter ..and as d black money which were kept as cash were out nd deposited into bank.So I think it helped but yes it is confusing that to how much xtent it will work??At least d matter of d black money away from our country such as switch bank etc are now in a mystery
mam actually demonitization was a short term plan which failed but it could have be successfull if some paramters were kept in mind before using the idea of demonetization . if i will explain you by contrasting a statement then i would say that gst is a long term plan to abolish black money . i think now you can think about the future results
