Perimeter = 2×(l+b) = 10 cm
Breadth = b
Length , l = 2 b - 16 (Length of a rectangle is 16 cm less than twice its breadth )

 2×(l+b) = 10
2 × ( 2 b - 16 +b) = 10
4 b - 32 + 2 b = 10
6b - 32 = 10
6 b = 10 + 32
6b= 42
b = 42 ÷ 6
b = 7 cm

∴ Breadth = 7 cm
   Length = 2 × b - 16
               = 2 × 7 - 16
               = -2 cm
