Step-by-step explanation:

In quadrilateral ABCD, ∠A + ∠B + ∠C + ∠D = 360 °.

From above, ∠A + ∠B = 360 ° - ∠C - ∠D is gotten.

In ΔOAB, \frac{1}{2}( ∠A + ∠B ) + ∠AOB = 180 °.

\frac{1}{2}( ∠A + ∠B ) = 180 ° - ∠AOB

From above, ∠A + ∠B = 360 ° - 2∠AOB is gotten.

Two expressions can be combined to make :

360 ° - 2∠AOB = 360 ° - ∠C - ∠D.

2∠AOB = ∠C + ∠D

∴∠AOB = \frac{1}{2}( ∠C + ∠D )
