HI MATE! HERE IS YOUR ANSWER :-

Art and architecture have a deep connection that unites them through their design, their designer, and their individual meanings. Both are created using the same organizing principles, the same visual elements, and the same engagement of the senses.

Primarily, the Indian temple architecture has been classified into three broad types, namely; Nagara or the northern style, Vesara or mixed style, and the Dravida which is the southern style. All these styles carry their unique regional influences and lineages.

Doshi, known as the Father of Indian Architecture. For Americans, that makes him the Frank Lloyd Wright of Indian architecture. Mr. Doshi was the dean of the CEPT Architecture School for 20 years and designed the wonderful campus where we spent 3 months of our time in India.

British colonial rule had a great impact on Indian art. Old patrons of art became less wealthy and influential, and Western art more ubiquitous as the British Empire established schools of art in major cities, such as the Bombay Art Society in 1888.

Contemporary architecture benefits immensely from artistic content. The use of art helps create a humanizing, scale-giving and psychologically benevolent factor. Also, the vast majority of people never see original paintings and sculpture in an art galleries or museums.
