Given :-

Length of each side of a cube, a = 0.7 m

To Find :-

The TSA of the cube in square centimetres.

Solution :-

We know for a cube,

\boxed{\mathbf{\color{red}{TSA=6a^2}}}

Putting the values :-

\sf{\longrightarrow TSA = 6\times(0.7)^2}\\\\\sf{\longrightarrow TSA=6\times0.49}\\\\\sf{\longrightarrow TSA=2.94\ m^2}

________________

Converting 2.94 m² to cm² :-

\sf{2.94\ m^2=2.94\times10000\ cm^2}\\\\\boxed{\boxed{\sf{\color{lime}{=29400\ cm^2}}}}

\huge\sf\purple{Steps}

We know for a cube,

\underline{\boxed{\green{\sf TSA=6a^2}}}

Substituting the given values,

\sf TSA = 6 \times (0.7)^2

\sf TSA = 6 \times 0.49

\sf\red{TSA = 2.94 m^2}

\qquad◕ 1 m = 100 cm

On converting

»» \sf 2.94 × 100

»» \sf\orange{294 cm^2}
