Chickens can eat mango, yes - in fact there are some good nutritional benefits for them eating mangoes on occasion.

Mango, being a fruit with high fructose content is quite difficult to digest and in chicken pox the nerves are effected including the parasympathetic system to the alimentary canal.. So it's better to avoid food which is diifuclt to digest.

So it's better to avoid food which is diifuclt to digest.And the salt in food, will increase the itching in the lesion(pleomorphic lesion), and you might be tempted to scratch it which might lead to a long term scar…so avoid salt!!
