Ionic bond- In this bond ,the two elements bound with each other with electrostatic force! While breaking one take +ve charge & other -ve!
Eg NaCl= Na+ Cl-
Covalent bond= mutual sharing of electrons are known as covalent bond!
Eg HCl

sairam2381: i am asking whether i take place in metel or non metals
Anonymous: Hey bond takes place between elements and formed compounds
sairam2381: whether i it is metal something
Anonymous: Compounds r neither metal or non metal; elements r coming in categories of metals and non metals
Anonymous: Yh metals r included jus see NaCl where Na is a metal
sairam2381: fine
Anonymous: If u like it plz mark it as brainlist
sairam2381: i can't get u
Anonymous: What u mean?

covalent bonds are those which shares valence electrons between two atoms [generally both nob -metallic]. Electrovalent bonds are those which transfers valence electrons from a metallic atom to a nonmetallic atom.
