Here is ur answer mate:-

Perimeter of a rectangle = 2(l+b)

Perimeter of this rectangle = 1m = 100cm

let length be x

So, breadth would be x+5

Here, we got a equation to compute, i.e

2 (x+x+5) = 100 cm

2(2x+5) = 100

4x + 10 = 100

4x = 100-10

x = 90÷4

x = 22.5 cm

So, dimensions of this rectangle are -

  • length = x = 22.5cm
  • breadth = x+5 = 27.5cm

therefore, length and breadth of this rectangle is 22.5cm and 27.5cm respectively.
