x= 58 - y

again,

x - y = 28

58 - y - y = 28

y = 15

LET THE ONE NUMBER BE X AND THE OTHER NUMBER BE Y

X + Y = 58

X - Y = 28

BY ELIMINATION METHOD.....

CANCELLING +Y AND -Y

NOW...2X = 86

X = 86/2

X = 43

SUBSTITUTING X = 43 IN X + Y = 58

43 + Y =58

Y = 58 - 43

Y = 15

HENCE THE TWO NUMBERS ARE

43 AND 15 ANSWER
