two drops of iodine solution are put on slice of bread and some grape juice why does Bread blue black in colour but grape juice does not when they are both carbohydrate​

When Iodine is dropped on a substance and if the substance turns blue-black, it is due to the presence of starch in the substance. This happens only with Iodine. Even if grape juice is dropped on the substance, it won't turn blue-black. Hence, when two drops of iodine solution are put on slice of bread and some grape juice on a slice of bread, grape juice does not turn it blue-black in colour.
