carbon is combusted with oxygen and formed carbon dioxide calculate the amount of carbon is required to get 264 grams of carbon dioxide

Here is your answer....

As per given,

44 g of Carbon di oxide =12 g of carbon
264 g of carbon do oxide =x g of carbon

x =12 ×264/44 g
x =72 g of carbon.
