amount of carbon in chalk in 1kg or 1000g = 3% of 1000g = 3/100 x 1000g = 30g
amount of calcium in chalk in 1kg or 1000g = 10% of 1000g = 10/100 x 1000g = 100g
amount of oxygen in chalk in 1kg or 1000g = 12% of 1000 g = 12/100 x 1000g = 120g
