Due to construction of dams the natural habiat will be submerged.  

So, natural environment is destroyed.  

The people living near the valley must move out if they lose their assests.  

The dams damage the surrounding environment.  

It does not allow fishes to migrate upstream past impoundment dams for spawning.  

It’s expensive to build dams.
