In this poem, the poet narrates the story of traveler’s imaginations that goes to Egypt and finds the self f proclaimed great king Ozymandias resting in his tomb.


The king may be dead, but he tries to command people like a dictator and tells to look for the works done by him.

1, the British part was known as the white town .

2, the Indian part was known as Black Town

Indian part was in Habitat by the poor. It had congested streets and shanties. Britisher part had Bungalows and white open space.
