In the lesson Bholi, Ramlal sends his last daughter bholi alone to school is because the other two daughters of Ramlal were married . Tehsildar wanted Ramlal to be an example for the village people to send their daughters to school . Bholi in the beginning did not like to go to school as she thought that she was also going to be sold to a person like her father did to Lakshmi the cow but Ramlal didn’t know that Bholi stopped stammering after going to school.
