the cheiftain in the poem Lord ullin's daughter was very good person. As he did in the poem he offer silver coins to the boatman to cross Lochgyle in order to escape murdered by lord ullin's men. By this we find that he was very kind man he was ready to everything for his beloved and for his love.

lord ullin's daughter is a beautiful poem of a girl and boy who fell in love with each other.this poem has been written by thomas campbell.the chieftain of the highland was a very good person.he was not so afraid of losing his own life , but was very afraid of losing the girl's life.he was ready to do anything for saving the girl from her angry father.
