A fight to find the balance of freedom and decency without having to be overwhelmed with a degenerate drug culture. Or a degenerate leftist counter culture.
Conservatives will fight the hardest for religious freedom, but have good allies among libertarians and other civil rights advocates. The honest ones. Mike Pence Is a prime example, and the left fear him even more than Trump.
It is important to note that a common leftist smears or false claims of conservatism is that we are authoritarian ( because that fits their claims of Nazism). Or that we don’t want anything to change. On the contrary, they love big government authoritarianism, and we Love small government with freedom for individuals. And we love many changes, especially for the better. When that means rolling back there poisonous schemes, then they take it that we want to roll back the clock. Yes we do want to go back to something that was better.
