Mr. Hall was a co-owner of the inn 'coach and horses' . He used to assists his wife but only when she allowed him to. He drove the iping conveyance . He was drunkards, who could not be entrusted with responsibilities. He believed in others quite easily and when Teddy Henfrey told him about Griffin, he at once formed the perception of the that something unusual was happening .

However he was not carefree or casual . He rushed to the inn at once when Teddy Henfrey told him about the stranger guest that his wife had taken in. Similarly, he rushed to check the well being of the invisible Man when the latter was bit by Fearenside's dog . However, he was a henpicked husband because he obeyed Mrs.Hall orders without raising any douts or questions. He was very meek in front of her and got taken to task many times.

Mr.hall did not boast or take full credit for running the inn. He was good -natured and praised his wife's management skills openly . He was extremely sociable and got on well with the villagers. He was down to earth man who did not hesitate to carry his lodger's luggage to his room . He enjoyed the company of his wife and the two of them jointly worked in the inn .

He had full faith in the abilities of his wife . He was very keen to help her run the inn well but preferred not to take undeserving credit for that . He was successful is a great extent in becoming an ideal life partner.
