If the number 6n were to end with the digit 0 ,then it would be divisible by 5 . If we factorise 6n we get, (3×2)n ,so the uniquenessof the fundamental theorem of airthmetic guarantees that there 5 is not a prime of 6n . So there is no natural number for which 6n ends with the digit 0 .
