Hey user !!

Here is your answer !!

_______________________________________________⭐

↪To check that (x + 1) is the factor we will put value of x in the given polynomial .

↪Hence ,

↪x + 1 = 0

↪x = -1

↪p ( x ) = x ^3 + x ^2 + x + 1

↪( -1 )^3 + ( -1 )^2 + ( -1 ) + 1 = 0

↪- 1 + 1 - 1 + 1 = 0

↪0 = 0

↪Hence zero is the required answer

↪( x + 1 ) is the factor of given polynomial.

Hope it is satisfactory :-)

❤ For check the factor of polynomial we simply put the given value in a place of x or any variable

❤ If your answer is equal to zero both sides then we can say it satisfies

❤ That means x+1 is a factor of p(x) = x^3 +x^2 +x+ 1

❤ In this question we put -1 in the place of x
