Chek using factor theorem that (2x+1) is a factor of x^3- 2x^2+ x-1 or not?

hey mate ur answer is2x+1 is not a factor of x³-2x²+x-1

2x+1 = 0
2x = - 1
x = - 1/2
x^3-2x^2+x-1
Put x = - 1/2
-1/2-1
-1/8+1/2+(-3/2)
= - 9/8
Hence 2x+1 is not a factor of given polynomial
