Aluminium Ore is usually called Bauxite.
It has Al2O3 (hydrated) mainly and some other oxides of aluminium.
1)NaOH is added to the crushed bauxite which turns all the aluminium oxides into sodium aluminate
2)Then the sodium aluminate is taken into a rotating kiln and Aluminium hydroxide is added. it helps precipitate out the sodium aluminate as aluminium hydroxide.
3)Lastly, This aluminium hydroxide is heated to produce aluminium oxide and water
4)It is this aluminium oxide that is electrolyzed to form aluminium.
Hope this helped :)

Answer:
Aluminium forms one stable oxide with the chemical formula Al2O3, commonly called alumina. It can be found in nature in the mineral corundum, α-alumina; there is also a γ-alumina phase.
