Daltron's Law of Partial Pressure :

The law states that when two or more non-reacting gases are enclosed in a vessel. The total pressure exerted by the mixture is the sum of Partial pressure which each gas would exert when present alone in the same space under identical temperature.

If 'P' is the total pressure of the gas mixture containing non-reacting gases 'A' and 'B' then,

 \sf{P = P_{A} + P_{B} }

where,

 \sf{P_{A} = Partial  \: pressure  \: of  \: A \: }

 \sf{P_{B} = Partial  \: pressure  \: of \:  B}
