chemmical difference between butter and cooking oil

Most common difference is cooking oil remains liquid at low temperature around 10-15c while butter turns into fat. Butter is dairy product containing high amount of saturated fatty acids while cooking oil generally contains majority of unsaturated fatty acids.

Cooking oil is defined as any neutral, non -polar chemical substance.
It is made from plant or synthetic fat and widely used in savory dishes.
It contains of: mono saturated fats, poly- saturated fats and trans fat..
Butter is defined as a dairy product which is made from churning fresh or fermented cream or milk. It is in solid form and salty in taste.
It contains of:- Butterfat, milk proteins and water.

Cooking oil is extracted from various sources such as peanut, groundnut, rice bran, cottonseed, mustard, and so on. Whereas butter is a milk product, prepared by whipping cream. Hence, butter contains much more calories than oil.
what I wanted to say is that, Butter comes from cows while oil comes for seeds, nuts and fruits, And Butter is dairy product it containing hing amount of saturated fatty acid while oil generally contains majority of unsaturated fatty acid.

Butter is solid at room temperature while cooking oil is liquid at room temperature.
