\huge\underline\mathfrak\pink{Explanation}

Quadratic equation => - 5x + 6 = 0

By splitting middle term,

x² - 2x - 3x + 6 = 0

x ( x - 2 ) -3 ( x - 2 ) = 0

( x - 2 ) ( x - 3 ) = 0

( x - 2 ) = 0 and ( x - 3 ) = 0

Therefore, x = 2 and 3......(i)

_____________________

Now, p and q are the roots of the given quadratic equation [ Given ]

Also, the roots of this equation are : 2 and 3 [ from eq (i) ]

So, let q = 2 and p = 3....(ii)

_____________________

1/p + 1/q ....(iii)

put the value of (ii) in (iii)

=1/3 + 1/2

After taking LCM,

=(2+3)/6

=5/6 ( required answer )
