m( arc SQ) = 116° when angle STQ is 58

Given,

Chords pq and rs intersect at T

∠ STQ = 58°

The inscribed angle theorem states, "The measure of an inscribed angle is half the measure of its inscribed arc."

So, we have the formula,

∠ = 1/2 (m arc)

∠ STQ =  1/2 (m arc SQ)

58° =  1/2 (m arc SQ)

m(arc SQ) = 2 × 58°

∴ m(arc SQ) =116°
