Circumference of a circular path is 480 m. Three persons start from the same
position and walk at the speeds of 5 m/s, 4 m/s and 2.5 m/s. After what time they
will meet at the starting point again?

Length of the track L=1200m

Speed of A = 27 \times \displaystyle\frac{5}{{18}} = 7.5 m/s

Speed of B = 45 \times \displaystyle\frac{5}{{18}} = 12.5 m/s

(i) same direction

Time = L / Relative Speed = \displaystyle\frac{{1200}}{{12.5 - 7.5}} = 240 sec

(ii) Opposite Direction

Time = L / Relative Speed = \displaystyle\frac{{1200}}{{12.5 + 7.5}} = 60 sec
