according to me read ncert, prepare last year question and I had done exam idea and I scored 95 in 2018 so I recommend you to go for it

yeah and use a reference book but diagram of ncert are compulsory

Here are few tips to score good marks in science class 10th CBSE-
- Read NCERT line by line, make notes and solve all the intext and exercise questions.
- Cover high weightage topics like Heredity and Evolution, Life Processes, Control and Coordination ,Carbon and its compounds , Electricity, Light Reflection and Refraction first.
- Practice questions from question bank for practising chapter-wise. There are many options out there but I favour Educart question bank because they provide a lot of questions including case-based, assertion-based, NCERT and all the questions of the past 10 years. This book is the best for students to learn how to write answers perfectly in the board exams because the solutions given here are to the point and precise. Also, the topper’s solutions are given with each chapter.
- Solve sample papers to know the latest paper pattern of CBSE.
- Write the answers in points, include diagrams and highlight the main points to make your answer presentable.
