1ans- the narrator knew that two lions had just passed by as he spotted fresh lion tracks on the dirt road that they were driving on.
2ans- the narrator moved away from the vehicle to ensure that the lions were not in the thick bush on his left.
3ans- as the narrator looked out for the lions,he didn't realise how far he was moving from the vehicle.
4ans-the narrator felt naked and cold as he was filled with fear. He had unwittingly wandered in between a lion and it's cubs, which was a very dangerous thing to do as the lions would attack him thinking that he could harm the cubs.
5ans- the roar that the narrator gave is described as being less than threatening probably because it was so frightened,and hence was no match to the roars of lions.
