From Archimedes principle
Bouyant force = Weight of fluid displaced = Weight of body

For A
Weight of water displaced = (V/2) × dg ……[∵ Half of Volume of A of water is displaced]
Weight of A = Vd₁g
(V/2) × dg = Vd₁g
d₁ = d/2

For B
Weight of water displaced = (2V/3) × dg ……[∵ 2/3rd of Volume of B of water is displaced
Weight of B = Vd₂g
(2V/3) × dg = Vd₂g
d₂ = 2d/3

Ratio of their density
d₁ : d₂ = [d/2] : [2d/3] = 3 : 4 = 0.75
