There are mainly 4 types of infectious agents:

1) bacteria:this is an unicellular microorganism which conducts various diseases

2)germs: this is an infectious agent which replicates itself inside of a living organism

3) fungi: this is an Eukaryotic microorganism and it is an infectious agent too

4) protozoa: these infectious agents are single celluar eukaryotes
