Monocots are plants that have one cotyledon in the seen and give one embryonic leave
Dicots have two embryonic leaves as they have more than one cotyledon in there seed
So plants are divided on the base of number of cotyledon in there seed into two catagories i.e monocot and dicot
Mango seed is dicot
Maize is monocot
Jowar is monocot
Wheat is monocot
