b) on the basis of locomotion, the protests is divided into 5 categories......
1. Mastigophora:- Locomotory organelles are flagella. E.g.: Euglena, Volvox.
2. Sarcodina:- Psuedopodia is chief locomotory organelles . E.g.: Marina, Arcella.
3.Sporozoa :- Lack of locomotory organelles. E.g.: Planetarium, Monocystis.
4. Ciliata:- Chief locomotory organelles are ciliata. E.g.: Parallelism, Opalina.
5. Suctoria:- Adult are lacking locomotory organelles. E.g.: Ephemera.

a) On the basis of nutrition, they could be 2 types....
1. Autotrophic. (e.g. Diatoms, Algae)
2. Heterotrophic. (e.g. Protozoan)
