Transparent objects: Materials that are see-through and allow light to travel through them are called transparent objects.
Translucent objects: Materials through which we cannot see clearly. The view is hazy and blurry. Such materials are called translucent objects.
Opaque objects: Materials through which light cannot travel are called opaque objects. The region behind such objects stays in shadow. It is impossible to see the other side of the object through it.
Based on the above explanation, the objects can be divided into:
- Transparent: Glass, water, spectacle lens, window glass, and air
- Translucent: Polythene cover and oily paper,
- Opaque: Cardboard, duster, piece of chalk, ball, table, book, palm, school bag, and mirror.
