A physical quantity which cannot be expressed in terms of any other physical quantity is called fundamental physical quantity.
Examples:- length,mass, time, temperature, strength of electric current,etc...
Derived physical quantity:-
A physical quantity which can be expressed in terms of other physical quantities is called derived physical quantity.
Examples:- Area, volume, density,speed,force,momentum, impulse,etc...
