[Co(NH3)5Cl]2+ is paramagnetic or diamagnetic ? According to me it is paramagnetic bczit have six electron in d-orbital i.e. here is n=4 .But in book it is paramagnetic .How it can be possible . Explan me soon plssssss................

The configuration of Co³+ is 3d6.
but the unpaired electron in n= 4.so paramagnetic.

and,
when 6ligands make coordination with cobalt,
d²sp³ hybridisation occur .
