The photographs are in the attachment. Marsilea and fern belongs to pteridophytes. Riccia, Marchantia and Funaria in the above attachment belongs to Bryophyta. Ulothrix, Cladophora, Ulva,Spirogyra, Chara as in the picture belongs to Thallophyta.

THALLOPHYTA -

Algae is also known as thallophyta. It is because their body cannot be distinguished into leaves, roots, and stem.

Habitat is mainly aquatic.

Thallophytes or algae performs fragmentation, asexual and sexual reproduction.

Examples : Chara, Ulva, Spirogyra, Chara, etc.

BRYOPHYTA -

They lack vascular system so are called non-vascular plants.

They require both water and soil to reproduce. That is why they are called the amphibians of plants.

PTERIDOPHYTA -

Unlike Bryophyta, Pteridophytes has vascular system.

They are seedless plants.
