Ofcourse the do.. U see peopl in south indian region generally wear lungi and other such clothes because most of they r engaged in such works, there they can't adjust in dresses like jeans and trousers.. Taking one more instance like people living in cities wear only official dresses because they donot have to do any farming or resembling activities. If they wear dhoti and lungi in towns, they mayland into troubles in driving etc..
