In Poland the government was communist, and later it became socialist while in Chile it was a military rule. Poland had a Parliament and the government, There was one ruling political party and the leader of this party was the actual leader of the country. The government of Poland was fully dependent from Soviet Russia and the country was under constant influence of USSR.

Chile was under the strong influence of United States in the ruling regime, the ruling regime was brutal but despite of the brutality the economic policy implemented by the government were liberal, resulting in economic development and growth of the citizens. While Poland’s socialist economy lead to very deep crisis.

Most importantly in the absence of a non-democratic government there is no social or economic equality. Citizens are always at the mercy of the dictator or autocratic ruler. In Poland during the communist rule about 200 people killed because of political reasons and in Chile thousands of people were killed, arrested and tortured by the regime.
