Basically, from the question, you must understand:


Metals, are usually good conductors of both heat and electricity. Silver is the best conductor of electricity and heat with a thermal expansion value of 430 W/(mK).

Exceptions of metal conductors, include, Mercury, Tungsten etc.


Non-Metals on the other hand do not conduct heat or electricity. An exception is Graphite, which is a form of Carbon.
