Answer:

1. In a Samoan society children did not go to school.

As soon as the babies could walk they were not looked after by their mothers.

Older children have to look after their siblings.

While girls looked after the home older boys learnt outdoor activities.

As the became teenagers more freedom was given to them.

we involve ourselves in various activities but are guided by our parents. Gradually, we get freedom to act with responsibility as adolescents and be educated responsible adults capable of making our own decisions. We have learnt different things at different stages of growth.

2. In Madhya Pradesh there was a separate school for boys and girls with different facilities. Boys are engaged in playground whereas for girls after school it is home. This has been part of the Indian society.

Some of this attitude has developed over a period of time due to the general mind set of the parents and society. Girls are told to be caring, be helping hand to their mothers, look after the house whereas this kind of work is generally not accepted from boys. This is what is ingrained in children which makes such a discrimination between boys and girls where boys are preferred to work and dominate public domain wheres girls are preferred to get married and look after their homes
