The series is 3,7,16,35,74,153,....
It's first term 'a1'=3
Second term 'a2'=7
Similarly a3=16 and so on.
[a2-a1=4=D1] ..... (1)
[a3-a2=9=D2].....(2)
[a4-a3=19=D3]....(3)
and so on.....
Where D1,D2,D3,.... are the differences.
You can see in the jump off D1 to D2 there is a difference of 5 , then jump off D2 to D3 the difference is 10.
You can represent the general term as
Tn=T(n-1)+5(n-1)
where Tn is the nth term and T(n-1) is the one term before the nth term.
T7=T6+5(6)
= 153+30
=183
Therefore next term in the series would be 183.
