(i) From given matrices, we find that,

y=4

z=3

x=1

(ii)From given matrices, we find that,

x+y=6⇒y=6−x→(1)

5+z=5⇒z=0

xy=8⇒x(6−x)=8

⇒6x−x2=8

⇒x2−6x+8=0

⇒(x−4)(x−2)=0

⇒x=4orx=2

When x=4,y=2

When x=2,y=4

(iii) From given matrices, we find that,

x+y+z=9→(1)

x+z=5→(2)

y+z=7→(3)

From (1) and (3),

x+(y+z)=9⇒x+7=9⇒x=2
