Concentration of minerals nutrient element is higher inside the roots hair than in the surrounding soil.how do roots take them in from the soil

There is another factor supplementing this that is the transpiration pull.
When water evaporates from plant, i.e., transpiration occurs a pull is created by which the water & minerals from outside the plant root , i.e., from the soil moves in to fill up the space created due to transpiration.

Still most of the water & minerals move into the plant body through osmosis & very less amount through transpiration pull.
