Figure of speech:

It is a figurative language which is different from its literal meaning. It is in the form of single word. It can be a repetition arrangement in a literal meaning, a metaphor or a phrase. It is mostly used in poem and poetry.

In alliteration repeated words are used, in anaphora many words begin with a same word such as I went, I saw, I fought. In assonance vowels are repeated, in euphemism offensive terms are used, in hyperbole exaggeration is used.

The main aim of figure of speech is to give a more creative form in your writing.
