first we have to draw a line using a ruler of 6 CM. then take a compass and put it at one end of the line segment then take the length greater than half of the line segment and got to ask for above the line and one below the line blurry with the other end and keep a scale and join the two points of the place where the two arcs intersect using a ruler and draw a line .. this will become the perpendicular bisector

Given:

A line segment of length 6cm

To find:

The perpendicular bisector of a line segment of 6 cm

Construction:

Step 1: Draw a line segment AB of length 6cm with the help of a ruler.

Step 2: With the help of a compass and ruler measure any radius more than half of 6cm.

Step 3: Draw two arcs with A as the center, one above and the other below the line segment.

Step 4: Similarly, draw two arcs with B as the center.

Step 5: Mark the intersection points as X and Y.

Step 6: Join XY.

Hence, XY is the perpendicular bisector of a line segment of 6 cm.
